About 15 months ago, I started searching on the internet for a property to buy on the Turkish Riviera. There were lots of choices – too many in fact and I was getting bogged down in the process. But at least I got a few contacts for Estate Agencies from the net. I narrowed it down to Fethiye and then to 6 properties. I then visited Fethiye to view these properties over the course of a few days. Belgin and Rüya of the Marina Estate Agency were fantastic. They were so professional and helpful right from the get go. They never tried to steer me to anything that I didn't want, and they patiently answered all my (many dozens of) questions. Nothing was too much trouble for them and I felt immediately that I could do business with them. That feeling never left me right from the viewing process to the final purchasing process and beyond - to the legalities with the Turkish authorities. The system in Turkey is very different from the UK way of doing things; here trust is an inevitable part of the process. I was, and still am, completely satisfied with the Marina Estates way of taking care of business and I'm happy to say that my trust in them continues to be borne out as they take care of my apartment in Fethiye as the property managers.
